And now for something a little different...

In the last few weeks I've gotten requests for photography that I just do not enjoy. Believe it or not, most photographers don't want to shoot everything. Some of us have niched down, even a lot of us who still remainin "burn and shoot" mode have figured out what type of photography just doesn't suit them. I'm not a wedding photographer - that's just not me. Nor do I enjoy events or babies. I don't mind going out as an invited guest sans camera but know that you can invite me almost anywhere and I'll show, but my camera isn't part of the deal. 😆

The following personalities are samples of photog friends I have in my social circle or hell -- an example of me in a past life. I'm trying something a little different by showcasing who's who! Bonus - if you need any of the following - I probably have a person for you!😉 Community Over Competition

*Ah, the world of photography. It's a vast and wonderful landscape filled with all sorts of characters, each with their own unique style and approach. But as with any profession, there are certain types of photographers that stand out from the rest. Allow me to introduce you to a few of my favorites.

First up, we have the "Wedding Warrior". These brave souls are the ones who willingly put themselves in the line of fire on one of the most important days of a couple's lives. They're the ones who capture the tears, the laughter, and the dance floor shenanigans. They're the ones who make sure that the memories of the big day will be treasured forever. Props to the Wedding Warriors, they're the unsung heroes of the photography world.

Next, we have the "Portrait Pro". These are the photographers who specialize in making you look your absolute best. Whether it's a family portrait, a headshot, or a glamour shot, the Portrait Pros know how to highlight your best features and make you look like a million bucks. They're the ones who make sure that your LinkedIn profile picture is on point.

And then there's the "Wildcard". These photographers are the ones who don't fit neatly into any one category. This for sure used to be me, if you look deep enough into my portfolio there's a wedding, flowers, landcapes, even baby photos 🫣 The wildcards are the ones who take pictures of just about anything and everything, and they're the ones who are always pushing the boundaries and trying new things. They're the ones who make you see the world in a different way.

Last but not least, we have the "Commercial King or Queen" These are the photographers who make sure that your product looks good enough to eat, whether it's a bag of chips or a car. They're the ones who know how to make your product look so good, people will want to buy it. They're the ones who make sure that your website and social media platforms look good.*

All of these photographers have their own unique talents and abilities, but they all share one thing in common: they're passionate about what they do and they're dedicated to making sure that their clients are happy. So the next time you're in need of a photographer, remember these types and choose the one that best fits your needs. Happy snapping!"
